Scope of the job
We are seeking an Expert ADME Leader to drive our drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) strategy. This role is critical in ensuring that our novel therapeutics, ranging from small molecules to biologics, are optimized for efficacy, safety, and translational success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of ADME strategies across oncology and immunology programs, from early discovery through clinical development.
Collaborate with discovery biology, medicinal chemistry, antibody engineering, pharmacology, and translational teams to guide compound optimization and candidate selection.
Design and interpret in vitro and in vivo ADME studies, including metabolic stability, enzyme/transporter profiling, immunogenicity-related ADME considerations, and tumor-specific distribution.
Support biomarker-driven strategies and PK/PD modeling to inform dose selection and clinical translation, particularly in immuno and precision oncology therapies.
Author and review ADME sections of regulatory submissions (IND, CTA, BLA), and participate in regulatory interactions with a focus on oncology and immunology-specific considerations.
Implement emerging ADME technologies and advanced in silico tools to expedite discovery and development programs.
Job requirements
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, Biochemistry, or related field with 15+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharma, with a strong focus on oncology and/or immunology.
Deep expertise in ADME science and its application to immune-modulating agents, targeted therapies, and biologics.
Proven track record of supporting IND-enabling studies and early clinical development in oncology/immunology.
Strong understanding of tumor microenvironment, immune system interactions, and their impact on drug disposition.
Excellent communication and leadership skills in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with modeling tools (e.g., Simcyp, GastroPlus) and translational PK/PD approaches.
Prior involvement in oncology/immunology-focused regulatory submissions and agency interactions.
